Meet Maggie, a 7-year-old Texas heeler who that in Reedley, California. As her owner writes, "She is truly my companion. She follows me to my home office each morning and goes room to room with me and even gets to go with me when I am running quick errands. She loves the pool (even though we try to keep her out of it because of shedding), long walks and anytime she gets to go for a ride with me. She is very protective of me as well. She loves when it rains so she can splash in puddles but even though she likes water, she is not a fan of a bath. She is also obsessed with the Jumbo Lamb Chop toys. She always has one with her unless we are on a walk. On our walks, though, she likes to pause and look up the redwood trees for gray squirrels. She is, by far, the best dog I have ever had. She has Pannus in her eyes so we make sure she has her RexSpecs on when we are outside for any long period of time and people love to see that when we are on our walks. She gets lots of attention with those."
