Nor’easter To Bring Wind, Heavy Rain, Coastal Flooding

A nor’easter is going to develop and impact the East Coast this weekend into early next week. Strong onshore winds will lead to moderate to potentially major coastal flooding and beach erosion, which is going to be made worse by the king tides. This nor’easter will be a slow mover, so heavy rain could lead to flooding. Large waves, rough surf and a high risk for rip currents will make it dangerous to be at the beaches from Florida to Maine.
