Winter Storm Izzy, in Pictures

Winter Storm Izzy dumped heavy snow and ice on parts of the South and Northeast on Sunday and Monday, leaving travel dangerous in several states.

Before it pivoted into the South, the storm dropped more than a foot of snow on parts of the Midwest. Hundreds of vehicle crashes were reported and stretches of interstates were closed during the worst of the storm.
