P​hotos show the major damage left behind after a tornado devastated the town of Louin, Mississippi, Sunday night.

T​he tornado that struck Louin was one of several in Mississippi Sunday night, which killed one person, which the Associated Press identified as 67-year-old George Jean Hayes, and injured nearly two dozen. M​ost of the people injured Sunday were in Jasper County.

O​n Monday afternoon, a possible tornado struck Moss Point, Mississippi, damaging structures, flipping cars and knocking down trees and powerlines.

O​n Tuesday morning, about 20,000 customers were still without power in the state, down from about 49,000 on Monday.
