Tornadoes Leave Devastation In Midwest (PHOTOS)

T​he images in the gallery above show the severe damage left behind in the aftermath of powerful storms and strong tornadoes that ravaged parts of the Midwest, including in Ohio and Indiana.

D​eaths have been confirmed, though search and rescue crews say they have a long way to go before the full extent of the tragedy is known. It took hours for first responders to get into some of the destroyed parts of the hardest-hit areas, underscoring the severity of the damage.
