Spring has arrived, and these African animals are taking advantage of all the season brings. Elephant herds, baboons and gazelles can be seen frolicking and tasting the yellow Tribulus flowers that bloomed at Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana due to much awaited rains, according to Caters News Agency.

"Since we have spent some years at this reserve, we are well aware that these flowers are favored hugely by the elephants, so out on a drive to find any wildlife to photograph foraging on the flowers, we stumbled upon this very relaxed herd of elephants," Ruth Nussbaum, a reserve resident, explained.

Photographer Kim Wolhuter, who snapped the scene, said that the baboons love to eat the Tribulus as well.

"When they first germinate, the baboons happily feed on the green leaves. When the flowers are out, the baboons go crazy eating flowers at a rate of about two per second," Wolhuter said.
