Tornadoes were reported in Georgia and the Carolinas on Wednesday, leaving residents to clean up damage. At least four homes were damaged in Newberry, South Carolina, and a confirmed tornado destroyed an elementary school gym in Yadkin County, North Carolina

A tornado was also reported in Gilmer County, Georgia, leaving behind damaged trees in its wake. Iredell County, North Carolina saw strong winds which destroyed several homes, according to the Associated Press. No serious injuries or deaths were reported due to Wednesday's Southern severe weather.

This comes a day after Tuesday's severe storms in the South. Six tornadoes were reported in southern Georgia Tuesday afternoon. Three were reported in North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina saw flooding on Tuesday.
