Floodwaters Rise in the Ohio River Valley (PHOTOS)

Melting snow and unwanted rainfall have combined to create a dangerous flooding situation in the Ohio River Valley.

Floodwaters have risen to levels not seen in nearly 20 years near Cincinnati, and although homes in the area have been mostly spared, smaller towns nearby haven't been so lucky.

Meanwhile, ice jams in the Pittsburgh area have pushed parts of the Allegheny River into yards and homes near its banks. Evacuations were ordered in a West Virginia town when sodden soil began to give way, resulting in several large mudslides.
