Victoria Kennard, 32, was found dead Sunday morning in the town of Ripley, according to WLWT.com. She was six months pregnant, and two the family's four children were also killed in the floods, the report added.

Kennard's fiancé, Tony Barrios, and two children were rescued from the floodwaters, Fox19.com reported.

"I had all the Kennard kids in school. We’ll all pull together. We’ll help this family because they’re good people. They’re just good, hard working honest folk," Shelley Scroufe told WLWT.com.

The family's other two sons survived as long as two hours in the fierce currents, Cincinnati.com reported. They were eventually rescued and transported to Children's Hospital Medical Center for treatment, the report added.

The floods were created by torrential rainfall in the area that quickly dumped 4 inches of rain in a single hour. The floods flipped cars, washed out roadways and destroyed garage doors, according to NBC News.
