Melissa Retired After Record-Breaking Run In Hurricane Season

There will never be another Hurricane Melissa. The name has officially become the 100th Atlantic hurricane name to be retired after the significant destruction it left behind in the Caribbean during the 2025 season. This decision was made during the annual meeting held by the World Meteorological Organization’s hurricane committee. Find out what name they are replacing it with here.
