Tornadoes and Severe Storms Wreak Havoc in the South (PHOTOS)

A series of powerful thunderstorms spawned tornadoes through the Mid-South Saturday morning, taking down trees, power lines and a number of structures.

A total of six tornadoes have touched down in Arkansas and Louisiana. The first confirmed tornado touched down near Keo, Ark. around 10:30 am CT. At least two injuries were reported.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to continue through late afternoon on Saturday in parts of the lower and mid-Tennessee Valley, including parts of Mississippi, northwestern Alabama, western portions of Tennessee and Kentucky.
