Arctic Blast To Bring Record Cold, Subzero Wind Chills

The next arctic cold front will blast across the Northern Plains on Friday and then head for the Ohio Valley and Northeast this weekend. Record cold high and low temperatures will be in jeopardy for some as readings drop more than 30 degrees below average. The worst of the cold will be felt across the Northern Plains, where wind chills could drop as low as minus 30 to 35 degrees this weekend.
