Sparks flew long before Michael Wolber and April Hartley said, "I do."

But these sparks started a different kind of fire – the Two Bulls fire, which has burned about 6,800 acres of brush and timber in central Oregon by Tuesday morning, according to authorities. Suddenly, an outdoor wedding with immaculate views was threatened.

"Right as the bride was about to walk down [the aisle], a firetruck came in sirens blaring and told the bride we had to evacuate," said Josh Newton on his Facebook page, who photographed the wedding in Bend, Oregon. "In tears, her father announced to all the guests that we had to move the wedding. Incredibly, the fireman then told us we could have the ceremony and then had to leave."

The fire may have shortened the wedding ceremony to 15 minutes, according to Wildfire Today, but the new Mr. and Mrs. Wolber were still able to tie the knot.

Once the ceremony ended and post-wedding festivities were being prepared, Newton and the newlyweds snuck away to take some smoky photos with the Two Bulls fire serving as the backdrop. What resulted were some of the most unique wedding photos you'll ever see.

By Wednesday night, the wildfire was 55 percent contained, the Central Oregon Fire Information Center reported.

An evacuation notice for about 50 homes northwest of Bend has been lifted. No structures have been lost.

Fighting the blaze has cost about $4.3 million so far, fire officials said.

Information from the Associated Press was used in this report.
