Relentless Heat Scorches Western States With No Relief

The West gets no relief as record breaking heat continues to swelter the area. Heat advisories and excessive heat alerts are in place across much of the West for the next few days. Highs in the triple digits are forecasted for parts of the central valley of California. Seattle will see highs in the upper 80s and Portland will climb the mid to low 90s, more than 10 degrees higher than average. Watch for the latest forecast.
