With some winter weather becoming more extreme and unpredictable, we asked a survival expert what to do if you’re stuck on the road when it’s cold, either due to a pileup, a crash, traffic jam or some other circumstance. Some of our questions included whether to leave or stay in your car and how to stay warm. Here’s his advice.
