Amazon Rainforest Suffers Worst Deforestation in a Decade | The Weather Channel

The Amazon rainforest is suffering its worst deforestation since 2008, according to new data from Brazil’s space agency INPE. Nearly 3,900 square miles of vegetation was lost within a 12-month span.
