Flying Spaghetti Monsters, Never-Before-Seen Squid Recorded

A deep-sea expedition led by Schmidt Ocean Institute from Palo Alto, California, explored a previously unmapped underwater mountain 2 miles high, as well as a larger area in the South Pacific. The team recorded several rare species in the region about 900 miles from the coast of Chile, and may have discovered many more. Take a look.
