Flashes As Large As Cities: Nighttime Storms From The ISS

Astronaut Anne McClain had the best seat in the house to watch thunderstorms blink across the southern skies recently. She said that some of the lightning flashes were as large as cities. These thunderstorms produced numerous tornadoes from the Ohio Valley into the Southeast.
