A volunteer at Big Bend National Park discovered a previously unknown plant. Not only is it a new species, it’s a completely new genus within the daisy family. Researchers still have a lot to learn about what they’ve named the wooly devil for its fuzzy appearance and are hoping to see some more of them pop up this spring.
