Rainy Weekend For Southeast: Flooding And High Wind Possible

A stationary front stretched across the south will bring stormy weather and heavy rain for much of the Southeast this weekend. 3 to 5 inches of rain or more are expected to fall in parts of southern Georgia through Thursday. Flooding is possible with the associated ongoing rain. Severe thunderstorms are possible today in the southern half of Georgia and Alabama, cities like Macon, Valdosta, Columbus, Savannah, Montgomery and Mobile. This rainy weather could continue into next week, with severe thunderstorms possible through Wednesday and Thursday. Watch for the latest forecast.
