Rare Comet Visible To Naked Eye Coming This Month

Comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) is brightening as it approaches Earth and should be visible to the naked eye between April 13 and 15, appearing low on the eastern horizon just before sunrise. Peak viewing conditions arrive around April 17 during a new moon, offering darker skies as the comet reaches maximum brightness. The comet makes its closest approach to Earth on April 27, though sunlight may make it harder to spot that day.
