Bright Fireball Streaks Over Washington, Oregon

A brilliant ball of light streaked across the sky early Wednesday in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. The American Meteor Society said 135 people made reports about seeing the meteor. We’re in the middle of fireball season, NASA says. From February through April, the appearance rate of these very bright meteors can increase by as much as 10% to 30%.
