Winter Storm Nacio moved into the Ohio Valley, Southeast and mid-Atlantic as a quick, potent mid-week storm that caused problems for travel in some areas while adding even more snowpack to others.

The storm shut down schools and businesses in several Southern states, even as far south as Alabama and Georgia. To the north, the storm brought another round of snow to areas like Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland, where so much snow fell just days ago from Winter Storm Jonas.

The storm also brought tragedy when one person was killed in a car accident on a snowy Pennsylvania road. Officials said 20-year-old Sadie Danielle Wells, a Mormon missionary from Kaysville, Utah, was killed when the car in which she was traveling collided with a school bus in Monroe Township Tuesday afternoon. The car's three other passengers were hospitalized, and one student on the bus suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

As the winter storm continues to move east, we will update the gallery at the top of this page with the latest photos, so please check back frequently for the latest.
