Sebnash specializes in catching large carp and catfish on extra-heavy pole gear, according to Angling Times. He is sponsored by Colmic Fishing and part of their extreme fishing team, which regularly catches gigantic fish using pole tactics, reports Fish-on-Friday.com.

Sebnash told the Angling Times that he finds it “more fun and much more exciting” to use a strengthened pole than a rod to catch fish. “You have no reel so you can’t give the fish any line. A rod is too easy,” he said to the fishing news site.

The fight to bring this gigantic catfish in lasted about 30 minutes, reports Fish-on-Friday.com. The huge 132lb fish was a personal record for Sebnash, the largest he has caught to date.
