This weekend's slate of football games has several that could be dampened by rain, but also has some lucky breaks in the NFL schedule regarding East Coast teams.

NCAA Saturday

While we may not see quite the spectacle of a hail-covered field as we saw in Laramie, Wyoming, last Saturday, there are several games in the West that could have to deal with showers or thunderstorms. Click each link for a detailed forecast.

- No. 7 Indiana at No. 3 Oregon (Eugene; 3:30 p.m. ET): Rain showers are likely. Bring rain gear if you're going to the game.

- Wake Forest at Oregon St. (Corvallis; 3:30 p.m. ET): Same as above. Bring rain gear.

- Air Force at UNLV (Las Vegas; 3:30 p.m. ET): Can't rule out a stray shower; breezy as well.

- San Jose St. at Wyoming (Laramie; 7 p.m. ET): Hopefully not hail this time, but showers are possible.

- No. 18 BYU at Arizona (Tucson; 8 p.m. ET): Thunderstorms are likely, possibly with heavy rain. Bring rain gear. Lightning delays are possible.

- No. 21 Arizona St. at Utah (Salt Lake City; 10:15 p.m. ET): Showers and thunderstorms likely with heavy rain possible. Bring rain gear. Lightning delays are possible. The Sun Devils are already practicing for wet conditions.

There are a few games in the East that could be affected by a developing nor'easter.

- Nebraska at Maryland (College Park; 3:30 p.m. ET): Breezy with showers possible.

- UAB @ Florida Atlantic (Boca Raton; 6 p.m. ET): Breezy with a stray shower possible.

- UL-Monroe @ Coastal Carolina (Conway; 7 p.m. ET): Windy with periods of rain. Bring rain gear.

NFL

As alluded to earlier, a nor'easter is forecast to lash the Northeast with wind and rain this weekend.

This could have been a bigger headache if the NFL schedule had a bunch of games along the I-95 corridor Sunday.

Instead, the Eagles-Giants clash in the Meadowlands is a Thursday night affair. The New York Jets will host the Denver Broncos, but in London, where the weather should be spectacular. The New England Patriots are in New Orleans on Sunday.

The Cowboys-Panthers tilt in Charlotte should have decent weather, but showers are increasingly possible in Pittsburgh where the Steelers will host the Cleveland Browns.

A couple of East Coast games could be affected by the nor'easter. If you're heading to either of these games, plan to bring rain gear, just in case:

- L.A. Rams at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET)

- Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders (Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET)

Sunday night's potential Super Bowl preview between the host Kansas Chiefs and the Detroit Lions should have decent weather, but we can't completely rule out a stray shower.
