Photos are beginning to surface as Milton's rain and severe weather lashed parts of Florida Wednesday night into Thursday.

The storm made landfall as a Category 3 major hurricane near Siesta Key Wednesday night. As it came ashore, Milton brought severe storm surge and extreme winds to the coastline, and then it pushed across the state and triggered more flooding and wind damage.
