The National Hurricane Center is still keeping a close eye on two tropical waves in the Atlantic. The wave in the Central Atlantic could develop into a tropical depression over the next few days as it takes a similar track to Erin, passing just north of the Leeward Islands as we head into the weekend. Invest 99L, the wave just south of the Cabo Verde Islands, has a medium chance of development as it moves west. Here’s the latest.
