Fierce Winds Fuel Wildfires In Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas

Red flag warnings remain in effect across the Plains, and crews in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas are trying to get the upper hand on multiple wildfires. Dramatic video shows a farmer in Hooker, Oklahoma, trying to save his land as a towering wall of smoke moves in. The Ranger Road Fire, the largest fire burning in western Oklahoma, has pushed into Kansas. In the Texas Panhandle, the Lavender Fire near Amarillo has burned at least 8,500 acres, the 8 Ball Fire in Armstrong County has burned even more.
