Severe Storms, Flood Threat On The Move

The threat of severe storms and flooding finally shifts eastward into the Southeast for the early part of the week. Damaging wind and isolated tornadoes are possible from the Gulf Coast to the mid-Atlantic on Sunday, including places like New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta, Asheville and Charlotte. Many of the same locations will see the threat of flash flooding as the storms track through. The system will continue to move eastward to start the work week before moving off the East Coast.
