Widespread severe storms are likely to develop starting Friday afternoon continuing well into Friday night. The greatest area at risk includes Kansas City, St. Louis, Wichita, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. A few strong tornadoes, hail larger than golf balls and damaging winds in excess of 75 mph will all be possible. Heavy rain could also lead to flooding.
