South Shivers As North Braces For Subzero Wind Chills

The door is open for arctic air to continue to invade the U.S. through the weekend and into next week. Even the South will get in on the action with lows dropping into the 20s and 30s by Friday morning along the Gulf Coast and Florida peninsula. Wind chills will drop well below zero Sunday and Monday across the Midwest and Great Lakes. Dressing in layers and covering all extremities are key as frostbite could develop in as little as 30 minutes on any exposed skin.
