A squall line associated with Winter Storm Lola will sweep through the mid-Atlantic and Carolinas through Wednesday evening, then strong winds from the potent storm itself will bruise the Northeast through Friday. Winds could be strong enough in some communities to bring down tree branches and cause some spotty power outages. A tornado or two could also occur through Wednesday evening from Pennsylvania to the Carolinas.
