South: Severe, Flood Threat Returns This Weekend

Another round of severe weather and flood concerns are taking shape for the South this weekend on the warm side of Winter Storm Jett. Damaging winds and tornadoes are possible for a large portion of the region, including New Orleans, Jackson, Atlanta and Nashville. Flash flooding will be a concern for much of the East as a result of the persistent rain the region has seen this week in conjunction with snow melt farther north. Here’s what you need to know.
