Another severe weather threat is on our radar, but what makes it different from last weekend’s deadly outbreak? The lack of widespread instability and moisture — critical ingredients for severe weather — will make for a less intense threat across the Midwest and South midweek. However, the chances are not zero, so we cannot let down our guard completely. Places like Des Moines, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville and Jackson could see damaging winds and hail — and we can’t rule out an isolated tornado. Time out this week’s severe forecast here.
