Severe weather will take aim at the South late week and into the weekend. Damaging winds will be the primary threat for most places, but we can’t rule out a tornado or two. Places like Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Nashville, Birmingham and Atlanta could see impacts Friday into Saturday. Prolonged periods of heavy rainfall will also pose the threat of flash flooding across many of the same areas. Here’s what you need to know.
