Another Outbreak Ahead?

As we begin April, another low pressure system will bring the threat of more severe weather to parts of the Plains, Midwest and South.

This could begin late Tuesday and Tuesday night in the Plains states, where damaging wind gusts, large hail and a few tornadoes are possible.

By Wednesday, the severe weather threat is forecast to escalate in the Midwest and South. NOAA's Storm Prediction Center is warning that a significant outbreak of severe storms capable of producing widespread damaging winds, very large hail and significant tornadoes is possible from the lower Great Lakes to parts of the Mississippi and Ohio valleys.
