W​inter Storm Nova spread snow from the Southwest to the Plains, Midwest and northern New England in mid-February 2023.

T​he storm began in the West on Feb. 14, then tracked into the Plains and Midwest on Feb. 15-16. It finished up by grazing northern New England with snow on Feb. 17.

C​oal Bank Pass, Colorado, had the biggest total in the Rockies with 27 inches.

F​lagstaff, Arizona, saw 8.6 inches of snow, helping to boost its seasonal total to over 94 inches.

In New Mexico, light accumulations of snow impacted travel in the Albuquerque metro area.

Farther east, parts of the Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, areas saw over a half-foot of snow. Up to 11.5 inches fell in Iowa City, Iowa.

T​he southern Milwaukee metro area saw more than 10 inches of snowfall from the storm, but the airport officially only saw 5.1 inches. Strong winds combined with the snow to produce low visibility.

N​ova closed out its cross-country journey by dumping over a half-foot of snow on Caribou, Maine.
