Winter Storm Kayden has brought snow to the West and is moving into the Northern Plains. Another disturbance will bring more snow the the West late week. Here's what you need to know.

Snow from Winter Storm Kayden is falling in the Northern Plains, while another disturbance brings another round of wintry conditions to the West.

W​here snow is falling now? Snow continues to fall in much of the interior West and has spread into portions of the Northern Plains.

T​iming of snowfall: Snowfall from Kayden will come to an end Thursday night in the Northern Plains.

Another disturbance will spread snow across much of the higher elevations of the West through late week.

H​ow much snow is expected? Additional snowfall will be over a foot in some of the higher elevations of Arizona, southern Utah and southern Colorado. Light snowfall is expected through Thursday for parts of the Northern Plains.

Winter Storm Kayden brought heavy snow to parts of the West. More than 30 inches reported at Mammoth Mountain and 26 inches was measured at Arizona Snowbowl and Mount Rose in Nevada.
