Snowfall Totals and Blizzard Reports

Winter Storm Neptune brought a swath of snow from the Midwest to the Northeast on Valentine's weekend 2015. Along with the snow, strong and damaging winds also occurred.

The heaviest snow and strongest wind gusts, once again, pummeled parts of coastal New England.

On this page we have a list of selected snowfall reports and confirmed blizzard conditions, organized by state, from Winter Storm Neptune. On the next page you will find some of the top wind reports listed by state.

Michigan

- 8.5 inches near Zeeland (fell in 12 hours 30 minutes)- 7.4 inches near Wellston- 7 inches near Fremont and Grawn- 6.3 inches in Muskegon- 6 inches in Munising- 4.1 inches in Grand Rapids- 2.1 inches in Lansing

- Confirmed blizzard conditions at Copper Harbor- Blizzard conditions reported in Alger County, northern Delta County and much of Marquette County

Wisconsin

- 4.5 inches in Gile- 4 inches near Butternut

Indiana

- 3.5 inches near Georgetown- 2.5 inches in South Bend

Ohio

- 8 inches in Shaker Heights- 7.5 inches near Chardon- 5.2 inches in Cleveland- 3.7 inches in Akron- 3.6 inches in Toledo

Pennsylvania

Connecticut

- 9 inches in Staffordville and Moosup- 8.5 inches in Tolland- 5.3 inches at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks (Saturday and Sunday)

Massachusetts

- 22.8 inches in South Dartmouth- 22 inches in Acushnet and Ipswich- 20 inches in New Bedford (several cars were trapped Sunday morning on impassable roads)- 16.2 inches at Logan International Airport in Boston (Saturday and Sunday)- 10.1 inches at Worcester Regional Airport (Saturday and Sunday)- 9 inches in Nantucket- 8 inches in Andover (fell in 2 hours)

Snowfall rates up to 3-4 inches per hour were observed early Sunday morning in parts of eastern Massachusetts.

- Numerous roads blocked by snow drifts in Ipswich- Vehicles stuck in snowbanks in East Freetown- Streets down to one lane in Pembroke- Exit 11B on route 93 south was closed Sunday morning due to high snow drifts

Rhode Island

- 14 inches in Warren- 12.2 inches in N. Providence- 11.8 inches in W. Warwick- 8.2 inches at T.F. Green State Airport (official Providence area observation site)

New Hampshire

Vermont

Blizzard conditions were reported in several Downeast Maine locations, including Eastport and Machias, according to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
