Lake-Effect Snow Belts To Get Hammered Again

January 15, 2026

A parade of storms will keep it snowy across the Great Lakes and New England through the weekend. After Thursday’s snow, another round of snow will develop Friday into Saturday as we get a reinforcing shot of frigid air. Models are now hinting at the possibility of a coastal low getting close to the East Coast on Sunday. The highest snow totals will likely be across northern Wisconsin, western Michigan along with the Upper Peninsula and the snow belts of New York. Watch this video for your hour-by-hour forecast.
