It May Be Spring, But April Is Snowiest For Rockies, Plains

Spring officially and meteorologically starts in March, but April still has tons of winter weather for some parts of the country. Much of the northern and central Rockies and High Plains, especially the Black Hills of South Dakota, experience their snowiest month in April.
