From rusting vintage vehicles to hand-painted signs and abandoned storefronts, photographer Liz Roll has captured a sense of nostalgia in her images of Americana across the country.

Roll focuses on photographing abandoned locations, and has shot images from Cuba to America's abandoned prisons. In this series, Roll's images feature the peeling paint and overgrown locations from a simpler time in the U.S., when small towns were the heart of America.
