"Rainbow Mountain" looks like it's straight out of the board game Candyland, or maybe that classic folk tune, "Big Rock Candy Mountain." This very real unreal-looking place was created by the interaction of minerals and sediments over millions of years, and was covered in a permanent layer of snow until 2013. After it became visible, it became the fastest-growing tourist attraction in its country . Can you guess where it is?

Vinicunca, also known as “Rainbow Mountain,” is located in Peru. Made up of 14 different colorful minerals, the mountain was permanently covered in snow up until 2013, so it’s a relatively new tourist attraction. To learn about how to visit, check out the official website
