Dronestagram, the first social platform dedicated to aerial photography, announced its top 20 pictures that were published on the platform this year.

"This year again, we were all amazed by the great quality of the submitted pictures," said Guillaume Jarret, head of Dronestagram's community.

With over 600 million users, photographers are presenting viewers with new perspectives of our world. Drone pilots continue to display a range of skills, capturing compositions that show off the beautiful landmarks and wonders of the world, like the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Italy and an erupting Piton de la Fournaise in the Indian Ocean.
