Hairy: Photographer Captures Adorable Dogs Before and After Their Haircuts (PHOTOS)

Animal photographer Grace Chon has always found dog grooming before-and-after photos amusing, noting that the hairy customer doesn't even look like the same dog after its haircut. Her photography series "HAIRY" highlights this incredible transformation dogs undergo after their sessions.

The dogs in the series have all been groomed in a Japanese grooming style at Healthy Spot in Los Angeles, California. The styles don't follow the typical breed standard cuts and rules for grooming, according to Chon. Instead, the emphasis is ensuring that the dog looks as adorable as possible, and the cut highlights its unique features.
