Interaction Leads To Baby Bison's Death

Yellowstone park rangers are investigating an incident on May 20 where an unidentified man was seen holding onto a baby bison. While he appeared to be helping the calf up a river bank, its mother and herd later rejected the animal. Park officials said it was causing a hazardous situation to visitors and cars, and they had to kill the calf.
