Surfer Dies After Shark Attack Near Sydney, Australia

A man died in Sydney, Australia, after being attacked by a shark on Saturday. Long Reef Beach, on Sydney’s northeast coast, was closed by police while an investigation and attempt to locate the shark began. Reports say that after being mauled, the man was brought to shore by two fellow surfers but died from his injuries on the beach. Investigators recovered two sections of surfboard for examination.
