...GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH A FRONT... The areas affected include... Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 0-20 nm... Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 20-60 nm... Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm... Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm... At 601 PM EDT, gusty outflow winds associated with a front dropping southward across the waters will be capable of producing winds to around 33 knots. Scattered showers and isolated lightning storms will also move across the waters this evening and may have brief strong gusts as well. This outflow is moving southward across the southern Brevard County waters at around 25 knots and will likely be well out ahead of any precipitation activity. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 33 knots, locally higher waves, and occasional lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor. A special marine warning may eventually be required.
