WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including Greeley, the Denver metro, Palmer Divide, and the eastern plains. WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 3 PM MDT Sunday. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Blowing dust could reduce visibility to less than a mile in places. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 and 251. TIMING...Until 9 PM MDT this evening. WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 7 percent. IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
