WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Coastal DownEast, Far Eastern, Interior DownEast, and Penobscot Valley Maine, including the following areas, in Central Highlands Maine, Central Piscataquis, Northern Penobscot and Southern Piscataquis. IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of small rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rain is expected to develop across the region today through tonight ending Tuesday morning. Widespread totals of 1 to 1.5 inches of rain are anticipated with locally higher amounts of 2 to 2.5 inches possible in the southern upslope of the Longfellow Mountains and across the Downeast.
